The central research goal of our research training group (GRK 804) is based on the application of chemical biology and chemoinformatics methods to produce and optimize molecular tools, including small molecules and aptamers, for the elucidation and analysis of signal transduction processes at the plasma membrane. In this context we will focus on projects that will provide insights into mechanisms of cell proliferation and differentiation in the immune system and in cancer development.
